Drum heaters made from silicone is used to heat up fluids / liquids in any standard size metal drum. The silicone heater is designed in a very simple design making it easy to use and easy to mount on any metal drum. The drum heater is equipped with an easy to use and precise thermostat with a range from 0° to 120°C. If you have a standard 200 liter drum you can attach up to 3 silicone heaters for blazingly fast heating. Drum heating can be used to heat a variety of liquids, e.g. water, resin, oil, diesel fuel and many other industrial liquids and allows them to be poured or pumped with ease. We always have standard sizes in stock. The standard sizes varies both in length and in height (see the specifications below for further details).

Temperature Setting

Thermostat has a scale range of +5/+40 . To assist the adjust- ment, the thermostat has a LED which will glow RED when the heating is ON. The thermostat should be set to maximum tem- perature setting until the desired temperature of the room or floor is achieved. The control knob should then be turned back until the LED goes out. Fine adjustments can be made over the next 1/2 days to suit individual requirements. Thermostat Adjustment When the room temperature has been stabilized, the thermos- tat set position may be adjusted to match actual room tempera- ture. Measure the temperature of the room with an accurate thermometer. Remove control knob(1) and spin the pole(D), then reposition the control knob so that the indicated tempera- ture line shows the same as the measured temperature (picture 2). We have adjusted the temperature, please do not spin the pole when installation. Max./Min. The heating wire is a solid wire wounded in a spiral. The spiral is completely encapsulated in highly compressed magnesium oxide. The heating element has been through a thermo cycle to reduce the fragility. The element can be bended on-site or can be delivered pre bended.

SV can be delivered with multi-zone power output. E.g. first half of the elements makes 650 W/m and the rest makes 970 W/m. This Has been delivered for switch points where higher power was wanted at the toe of the point.
