Hemstedt GmbH was founded in Brackenheim near Stuttgart in 1974. Since then, the company has developed into one of the leading manufacturers of heating cables and cold storage technology products for private and commercial applications. At the beginning of the 1990s, the siblings Andreas Hemstedt and Sabine Hemstedt joined the family business as a tandem and have been active in the management since 2011. Today, the company primarily develops and produces energy-efficient heating systems and holistic concepts that contribute significantly to creating not only the climate-neutral, but even the climate-positive home.
In the field of building and home technology, Hemstedt is the specialist for all areas of electrical heating - from underfloor heating to frost protection. The development of new products incorporates 50 years of experience in areas such as the heating of industrial plants and football stadiums, which have to withstand extreme loads. High quality and special solutions have made Hemstedt known worldwide. The company delivers throughout Europe as well as to the USA, Great Britain, Australia, Turkey, South Africa, Uruguay, China and many other countries. Almost 60 employees work in development, administration and production on an area of around 17,000 square metres.
