3M™ Polyester Tape 8992 /8992L 

3M™ Polyester Tape 8992 is a dark green polyester tape with silicone adhesive. It is suitable for high-temperature applications such as powder coating masking, flashbreaker tape, and splicing. It adheres well to hard-to-stick surfaces like silicone liners and removes cleanly.

EMK Junction Box Standart

The “Standard” connection kits for EMK heating cables are available in 3 versions: EMK Standard 300, EMK Standard 400 S and EMK Standard 400 D. Heat Resistant Silicone

Areas of Use

• In areas exposed to continuously high temperatures.
• As a liquid gasket to prevent oil leakage in explosion engines.
• In areas continuously exposed to machine and motor oils, such as motor covers.
• As an adhesive and insulator in electric heating devices.
• As a sealing material and vibration absorber in hot air ducts and sheet metal joints.
• As an insulation material and adhesive to protect electrical and electronic circuits from heat and humidity.

• Ready-to-use, single-component sealing material.
• Resistant to temperatures up to 300°C.
• Light acetate odor disappears after drying.
• Solvent-free.
• Maintains its elasticity permanently.
• Resistant to abrasion.
• Unaffected by weather conditions approximately 1 hour after application (at +20°C).
• Cured surfaces do not adhere to other materials.
• Cannot be painted.

Pre-Application Preparation

• The surfaces to be applied must be solid, clean, dry, and free from oil and dust.
• To ensure a smooth filling, tape can be applied to both edges.

Application

• Before use, the tip of the cartridge should be cut, and the plastic nozzle should be attached.
• The nozzle tip should be cut according to the width of the application surface, then the cartridge should be inserted into the gun.
• During application, joints must be filled in one go without leaving any gaps.
• After applying the silicone to the joints, the surface should be immediately smoothed using a spatula.
• After application, the masking tape should be removed.
• Opened packages should be used as quickly as possible.
• Do not apply in outdoor areas during rainy weather.

Post-Application Cleaning

• Contaminated areas and used tools should be cleaned within 10 minutes using industrial solvent (white spirit) or alcohol.
• Once cured, it can only be removed mechanically.

Fastening Strip

The heater cable fixing strip is a highly durable mounting element that ensures secure attachment of heating cables to surfaces. Produced by EHT Engineering, these strips come in galvanized or stainless steel options, ensuring long-term durability.

Connection clips are spaced every 2.5 cm, and the spacing between cable loops can range from 5 cm to 15 cm, providing flexible installation options. The mounting strip can be secured by screwing, nailing, or using adhesive methods, ensuring a firm cable placement.

It is commonly used in floor heating systems, snow and ice melting systems, and other heating applications. According to the recommended usage, it should be secured every 50 cm, and approximately 2 meters of mounting strip is required for every square meter of installation area.
