The 8DI and 16DI digital input modules register and monitor diverse status signals. The inputs are floating, and this means that non-floating contacts are required for transmitting signals. They are operated and supplied through the MC32 controller. The internal, galvanically isolated bus connection is established by simply joining the modules together.
