Ventilation
In particular installation conditions, to avoid the risk of overheating inside the box, ventilation grills with special protective filters can be provided.

Protection Boxes
The Protection Boxes are available in various sizes and are made from a single sheet of polyester resin reinforced with hot-pressed fibreglass. The thermal construction process gives the box maximum degree of resistance to shocks, abrasions and incisions. The material used, which is self-extinguishing and UV resistant, is also particularly suitable for aggressive and corrosive environments. The grey colour is obtained by the pigmentation of the polyester resin. The box surfaces are therefore not painted and need no maintenance. A version for dangerous areas is also available, black coloured, made with antistatic material according to ATEX requirements for reduced resistivity. The protection box is constructed with two identical half-shells that close in a horizontal line with a double seal system (washer in neoprene rubber plus a set of labyrinth channels), which ensure a protection against water and dust. The cover turns upwards on a hinge with a removable stainless steel pin. When the lid is raised, a stainless steel device blocks it, keeping it open. The box is closed by two stainless steel hooks.

External Box Brackets System
This consists of a plate with four holes equipped with half-couplings (with 2 fixing screws) suitable for housing a support rod with a 2” diameter. It is fitted, in a sliding manner, onto two special profiles fitted onto the outer base of the box. It is available in two versions, one for vertical fitting, the other for horizontal fitting. The internal and external brackets systems are linked to each other, in order to create a rigid system, with the weight of the equipment inside the box bearing directly onto the support rod. All the bracket systems are made in carbon steel hot zinc plated.

Rear Box Brackets
The box can also be fixed to a rod with a 2” diameter by means of brackets fitted to the rear side of the box.

Fixing Plate
Alternatively to the internal brackets system for fitting the instruments, a fixing plate is available that can be fitted onto the bottom or onto the back wall of the box.

Sealed Thru-Wall Channels
Thru-wall rubber taps in neoprene rubber allow for the “sealed” entry/exit of the tubes linked to the process and to the discharge.

Sealed Cable Channels
Sealed cable channels in polyethylene, complete with locknuts, allow for the “sealed” entry of electrical signals.

Support Rod
To fit the box, a 2” diameter rod with a square base provided with four holes for fixing to the floor can be supplied.

Window
The boxes can be provided with a window in transparent polycarbonate 4 mm thick, or in safety glass.

Insulation For Low Temperatures
For installation in particularly severe environmental conditions, the box can be equipped with a heat insulating inner coating in polyethylene, together with an aluminium sheet for heat reflection.

Electric Heating Systems
The electrical heating system can be supplied in the standard or Ex CENELEC-ATEX versions, for use in dangerous areas. The heaters, of various powers, are self-regulating according to the temperature of the environment. On request, the heater can be linked to a thermostat.
