The EM 524 90 is a dual-zone ice detector designed to control ice and snow melting systems in open areas such as roofs, gutters, garage entrances, ramps, and stairs. By analyzing temperature and humidity data from sensors, it only activates the heating system when there is a risk of ice formation, preventing unnecessary energy consumption and saving up to 80% of energy.

This detector features automatic sensor detection, an LCD display, twin LED indicators, and programmable temperature and humidity sensitivity. With a 16A switching capacity, it can efficiently control powerful heating systems.

It can be easily mounted on a DIN rail and comes with factory preset settings for quick installation. Additionally, an alarm output provides warnings in case of system failure.
